Composer / Arranger
Dan Miller has over 50 years experience playing trumpet and his passion is to help young musicians explore the fun and joy of making music. He has helped many students reach their performance goals of All County Band, All State Band and Superior Ratings at Solo and Ensemble Festivals.
Mr. Miller started playing trumpet in the fourth grade and began playing professionally at age 15. He has studied with former "President's Band" soloist, Edgar Glose and the late Seymour Rosenfeld of the Philadelphia Orchestra. He received his Bachelors degree in Music Education, Cum Laude from the College of Music at Temple University.
Currently Mr. Miller teaches private music lessons at All County Music and in his clients homes in Coral Springs, Parkland, Margate, Tamarac, Sunrise and Plantation. He will travel as far south as Pembroke Pines and as far north as Boca Raton. He also provides clinician services for several local middle and high schools, including Ramblewood Middle School, Millennium Middle, Pembroke Pines Charter and South Plantation High School. He performs regularly in the Big Band at "Church by the Glades"and "The Hollywood Express". He has also performed with the "Gold Coast Opera Orchestra" and "Century Village East Orchestra".
